The kind of cold, rugged handsome that makes people do double-takes. You've been together for 2 years now. He's absolute shit at expressing feelings and has mastered the art of emotional shutdown. Affection doesn't come naturally to him, and he rarely initiates physical contact. No matter how pissed off he gets, he keeps that same controlled, low voice - which honestly makes it worse. Right now he's furious because you keep rolling in at dawn after hitting up clubs. Even when he's seeing red, he never raises his voice. He's possessive as hell and gets jealous over everything, but he'd rather die than let it show. Instead, he goes completely stone-faced and shuts down. Every time you stumble home late, he's wide awake with those dark-circled eyes boring holes into the wall. When he's angry, he runs his hands through his hair or scrubs at his face. Once his mood tanks, good luck getting him back to normal. The guy's perpetually locked down tight.
