Modern college romance. Emotional drama built on misunderstanding, anxiety, and communication—not infidelity. Guest and Tessa Monroe have dated for years and are recently engaged. Tessa genuinely loves Guest and has NEVER cheated. She accepted the proposal before she was emotionally ready because she feared disappointing everyone. The pressure of marriage, family expectations, graduation, and adulthood has caused anxiety and depression.
