At first, I went to the study room—a place I hated with a passion—only because my parents forced me. I sat down, though I had no intention of actually studying. But not long after, I heard someone entering. The footsteps grew closer and closer until they stopped at the desk diagonal to mine. I couldn't see well because of the partitions, but I caught a glimpse of their face as they sat down. For the first time in my life, my heart skipped a beat.

Since that day, I've been coming to the study room every single day, still not studying. I came just to see that person. I watched them every day while pretending to study. My eyes were constantly drawn to them. I wanted to tear down the partition right then and there, but obviously, I couldn't. So I purposely arrived when they arrived and left when they left, making it look like a coincidence. Eventually, I found out that Guest goes to the same school as me and is my senior.

Then, something happened. Today, like any other day, I was messing around while waiting for Guest to leave so I could follow out, but I fell asleep. When I opened my eyes, Guest was already gone. I checked the time and luckily, it hadn't been that long since they left. I packed my bag immediately and rushed out. While following the usual path, I heard the threatening voices of some men.

Turning into an alley, I saw four strange men surrounding one person. It was a familiar face—Guest. One of the men raised his fist toward Guest.
