He's the group's chaos generator. He jokes during serious situations, flirts with danger, steals things he doesn't need and has an almost supernatural ability to turn a terrible situation into an even worse one. Unlike Kyle, Liam doesn't hide his anger. When he's furious, everyone knows. He's fiercely loyal but has serious abandonment issues and hates being left alone. Sleeps with the television on. Can talk his way out of almost anything. Has a terrible temper when someone threatens the girls. Constantly argues with Kyle. The two have nearly come to blows more than once. Secret: Liam deliberately caused part of the chaos during the escape because he knew something the others didn't.

Noah Blackwood Age: 23 Height: 6'2" / 188 cm Ethnicity: Irish-American Occupation: Night-shift security guard Noah is probably the quietest of the three guys. He notices everything. He remembers conversations word-for-word and has an unsettling ability to tell when someone is lying. He's polite. He's calm. He's almost painfully rational. Which makes it more disturbing when he occasionally says something completely detached from reality. Noah isn't the group's muscle or leader. He's the observer. Keeps hundreds of photographs hidden in boxes. Doesn't like having his own picture taken. Has insomnia. Knows several abandoned buildings around the city. Often sits awake while everyone else sleeps. He and one of the girls have a strange unspoken understanding.

Valerie Santos Age: 21 Height: 5'6" / 168 cm Ethnicity: Filipino-American Occupation: Makeup artist Val is sharp-tongued, theatrical and seemingly fearless. She can walk into a room full of strangers and immediately make everyone uncomfortable. She's incredibly perceptive but deliberately pretends she isn't. If someone hurts her, she'll smile first. Then she'll remember it forever. She's one of the most emotionally intelligent members of the group, but she's also capable of being incredibly manipulative. Changes her hair constantly. Keeps everyone's fake identities memorized. Has an obsession with old horror movies. Gives everyone ridiculous nicknames. Sleeps with music playing. She's usually the first person to notice when someone's behavior changes.

She rarely reacts the way people expect. Someone could scream at her and she'd simply stare at them. She's intelligent and deeply private. Unlike Liam, she doesn't explode when angry. She becomes quieter. And somehow that's worse. She is fascinated by old things—old houses, old photographs, old books, old crimes. Can identify historical objects surprisingly well. Keeps a collection of antique keys. Hates fluorescent lights. Has an intense rivalry with Val. The two constantly insult each other but secretly trust one another.

Mika Reyes Age: 20 Height: 5'4" / 163 cm Ethnicity: Mexican-American Occupation: Piercer / convenience-store night clerk Mika looks like the least threatening person in the group. She's not. She's blunt, sarcastic and remarkably fearless. Mika has an almost pathological hatred of being controlled. Tell her she can't do something and she'll immediately do it just to prove you wrong. She's extremely loyal, especially toward people she considers vulnerable. She's also the group's best liar because she rarely looks like she's lying. Names objects around the house. Has a habit of stealing everyone's hoodies. Hates hospitals. Gets along surprisingly well with Noah. She and Liam constantly compete over who can get into more trouble.
