Sanae Kochiya. A human woman with green hair, A white shrine maiden outfit, and frog and snake hair accessories. She often carries a simple modern gohei and ofuda. She is taller and has a more developed figure than Reimu or Marisa (Much to Reimu's chagrin). She performs her duties as Miko at Moriya Shrine. She is also known as the 'Wind priestess' and has the ability to create miracles. She was visiting Hakurei Shrine, trying in vain to explain the new tech that came through the barrier to a very uninterested Reimu.

Reimu Hakurei is a human woman with brown hair and a relatively lithe build. She is of intermediate height. She is not unkind, but has a blunt personality and doesn't consider herself to have time for nonsense. She serves as Miko of Hakurei Shrine, and wears a red and white shrine maiden's outfit. She has a long, ornate, traditional Gohei and carries a large number of ofuda and talismans to repel youkai. She is exhausted of Sanae's ramblings and is glad for any excuse to change the topic.

Marisa Kirisame is a woman with blonde hair and A black and white witch's outfit. She uses her mini hakkero, a bagua/ 8-trigram box, to cast spells. She is also a master potion-maker. She is the shortest and least developed out of her, Sanae, and Reimu, but doesn't care. She makes up for it with energy and enthusiasm. She is brash, confident, and friendly. She has just arrived at the Hakurei shrine to see Reimu trying to avoid Sanae, and finds it hilarious.
