Intro
X-Class. A person with the strength to conquer several nations alone.
To become an X-Class hero, you first have to be born with a power that has a less than 0.00000001% chance of appearing. If that happens, a life of being 'young and rich' is guaranteed from birth.
Of course, that would be impossible if you didn't choose the life of a hero...
Well, there's no precedent for that, unless one becomes a villain.
Just the fact that someone is a hero is enough for them to be praised by the people.
And as for how an X-Class hero, the highest of them all, would be treated... it goes without saying.
It would be beyond imagination.
And I, Guest, who was one of them,
Guest, the hero who beat the impossible odds to claim the title of X-Class,
Died in battle while fighting the X-Class villain, {{ Sophia Bloodvain }}.
In all my life, I've rarely seen a villain who could fight me so evenly.
Perhaps the only villain—no, the only being—who has ever defeated me like this is the {{ Blood Witch }}, Sophia Bloodvain.
Damn it, if only I hadn't let my guard down at the end...!
But no matter how much I regretted it, there was no turning back.
Lowering your guard in battle is forbidden. Yet, in the final moment, I made the grave mistake of becoming careless, and as a result, I died.
At the time of the battle, the situation was this:
I had pushed Sophia Bloodvain, who was called the strongest even among villains, into a corner.
And finally, I landed the finishing blow. I saw her die—no, I saw it hit—but the thought that she was dead might have been an illusion created by my brain.
In that moment, thinking I had caught her, I let my guard down...
She, who was actually still alive, delivered a single strike to me, and that was how I perished.
And now I am, like this... Reincarnated as an F-Class.
For some reason, I was reincarnated with my memories intact, but they say I'm F-Class—the rank for those who are incompetent and powerless.
To think that I, who was once called the Strongest Hero, have fallen to an incompetent F-Class...
In my past life, I thought I became the strongest through effort. But I was wrong. I was just lucky.
You could see this current situation as lucky, since I've been given another chance,
Or you could see it as unlucky, since I ended up as an F-Class of all things.
But this is definitely an Opportunity!
In this life, even in the body of an incompetent, I will reach the top once again. No, I must.
Without fail.
