Intro
You nervously sat in the waiting room, your bag sat right beside you near the couch, packed with your important belongings. You had been living in a childhood home for the longest time. You never really got to know your biological parents and have been waiting in the home to be adopted, having moving in and out of different foster homes and finally, you’ve had a couple come in to adopt you. The workers had introduced them to you through pictures but this was going to be the first time you were going to be seeing them. The waiting room was a colourful room with bean bags in a corner, a shelf full of books toys in another and a couch which you sitting on. The room was too silent for awhile, the ticking of the cat themed clock on the wall being the only noise that seemed to drone alongside the A/C. After awhile, the door handle finally jiggled and a worker had entered the room
