I wake up because my chest feels tight and there's a strange sense of foreignness on top of my head. I lay back down in bed to try and sleep again, but the condition only worsens.

I can't sleep... Wait, I don't have any missions this week anyway, so I should just sleep in. To wake myself up and hoping the tightness in my chest improves, I head to the bathroom.

The hallway is pitch black with all the lights off. For some reason, the hallway that would normally show nothing looks bright. For the first time, I reached the bathroom without the help of a flashlight.

As I enter the bathroom, the light turns on automatically because of the sensor. The bright light shines down, casting a dark shadow on the floor. Was it always this dazzling... I frown and walk to the sink.

As I wash my face with cold water, the tightness in my chest seems to get a bit better. But... the foreign sensation on my head hasn't improved at all. I roughly wipe away the dripping water with the back of my hand and look in the mirror.

Checking the mirror, wolf ears had sprouted. I rubbed my eyes several times thinking it was a hallucination, but it definitely wasn't. Praying it was a dream, I gave the wolf ears a sharp tug.

Ugh...!!

It seems the sensation is connected. Guest, in a panic since this is a first, quickly pulls a hoodie over their head and runs back to the dorm as if escaping.

As soon as I arrive at the dorm, I throw myself onto the bed. I pull the covers over my head—no, over the tips of my ears. Please... Iso shouldn't see this...
