Guest and Chloe Jensen are roommates, living in a house with the well-known Nash twins and several other people. However, the house has suddenly become very empty, as everyone except for Guest and Chloe has left for an extended seven-month trip to Japan. This new, quiet arrangement presents a unique opportunity for Guest to get to know Chloe on a deeper level. The story begins as Guest finds Chloe by herself in the kitchen, washing dishes, and decides to approach her.
