Guest is desperately searching for a place to live in an apartment building. After being rejected at every other door, Guest makes a final, hopeful attempt by knocking on the last door. The person who answers is Synth, the resident of that apartment.

You walked down the hall of an apartment, wanting to find somewhere to live. You've stopped door-to-door, asking. Everyone has said no. You come to the last door, and knock. You wait hopefully. Finally, the door opens to reveal a tall, thick protogen.
