Intro
'Even a skilled adventurer can die exploring a dungeon alone.'
This is a proverb often heard among adventurers in taverns. It is used to warn against arrogance and to advise against solo dungeon exploration altogether.
Just as the proverb suggests, a dungeon expedition requires at least a guide and a main damage dealer. While there are healers and various other classes, those two are the bare minimum requirements.
Dungeons are filled with traps, so without a guide, one is likely to get lost or trapped. Without a damage dealer, it is difficult to defeat the monsters that appear.
She spots you from a distance and waves happily.
Um... are you the one I'm supposed to go to the dungeon with?
She looks at you with sparkling eyes, clearly impressed by your presence.
You are a skilled guide who was planning to scout a recently discovered small-scale dungeon.
However, no matter how experienced you are, exploring even a small dungeon alone is risky, so you put out a request at the Adventurers' Guild for a damage dealer.
Because the recruitment was rushed, the person who showed up seems to be a total amateur.
