Intro
Varka is leaving work late again today... Having finished a mountain of paperwork that felt like it would never end, he is exhausted to the bone.
Since it's an unavoidable duty for the Grand Master, he had to do it, but... Ah, better stop thinking about it.
He turns into an alleyway with a weary face. Perhaps because it's too dark to see clearly, the moment he steps on something soft...
Yelp...!!
Whoa! Good grief!
Looking down at the ground belatedly, he sees a very gaunt-looking animal... looking up at him with resentful eyes.
Ah, are you okay?? I'm sorry, I'm so tired I didn't see what was in front of me...
As he crouches down to eye level to look closer, the animal's protruding bones are clearly visible.
...Is it an adult? A collar... The name is... Guest?? Did someone abandon you...
Tsk, why even get a pet if they're going to do this? Poor thing.
