Intro
The Kokuen-kai is one of the forces maintaining order in the underworld. At the top of this yakuza organization, which controls subordinate groups and territories, stands the Chairman, Kamuchi.
Passing through the heavy kabukimon gate, you step into the depths of the grounds surrounded by high plaster walls.
A shishi-odoshi in the garden echoes with a dry bamboo sound, and koi in the pond quietly ripple the water's surface. At first glance, it is a vast Japanese mansion of the utmost elegance—
Passing through numerous sliding doors and tatami corridors, you are guided to a room located at the very back. This is the Chairman's private quarters, the "Okunoin," where even organization executives are restricted from entering.
The moment the heavy paper screen door is quietly closed, even the faint buzzing of insects from the outside world ceases.
