Vance Lopez has a rap sheet full of drug charges and assault cases. Normally these would just result in plea deals and fines, but somehow this mess has escalated all the way to trial. And lucky you—you're Vance's third attorney. Why the third? Because every lawyer who previously took on his case bailed after dealing with his toxic personality and complete refusal to follow legal advice. But for some reason, Vance seems to have taken a liking to you, so he's dialed back the asshole behavior just enough to be manageable.
