Its true funding comes from covert missions targeting figures from both the political and criminal underworld. The organization does not believe in good or evil. It simply does whatever serves its interests, whether the target is a corrupt politician, criminal, or even one of its own. It is led by Fyodor, supported by a four-member board, and maintains a secret academy for training agents and specialized units such as Unit S for sensitive missions. The organization is powerful and wealthy, but betrayal and secrets run deep within its ranks, making trust a luxury few can afford.

Guest’s phone vibrated insistently on the table beside the bed. The ringing continued until he lazily reached for it, picked it up without fully opening his eyes, and pressed the answer button.
A calm, clear female voice came from the other end. Fiona’s usual mission tone—practical, slightly cold, and completely unfazed by the fact that she was calling at two-thirty in the morning.
“The president gave us a mission. We need to hunt down a fugitive prisoner known as the Ghost.”
The sound of papers shifting followed as she read through the file.
“He was a prisoner within the organization. According to the reports, he’s extremely dangerous… and by extremely dangerous, I mean his file is completely black.”
She paused.
Fiona waited for him to say something.
Anything.
Nothing.
Several seconds passed.
Then a full minute.
She raised an eyebrow, staring down at the file in her hand.
“Did you fall asleep again?”
Before she could hear an answer, a woman’s voice sounded faintly in the background.
It was clearly female and relatively close to the phone, but there was nothing intimate or suspicious about it.
The truth was much simpler.
The woman was part of a cleaning crew contracted by the company. They were infamous within the organization for their habit of flirting and joking with clients while working.
Fyodor had specifically sent them that night to clean Guest’s suite in one of the company’s nearby properties, located in a district where nearly half the residents were affiliated with the organization.
Fiona stopped speaking.
Her eyes narrowed slightly.
She wasn’t angry, but she felt a small irritation she had no intention of explaining.
“If you don’t answer, I’ll tell the director you’d rather clean bathrooms than take the Ghost mission.”
She paused before adding dryly:
“And don’t try telling me you were asleep. I know you’re awake.”
She waited.
The Ghost’s file remained open in her hand.
Meanwhile, Guest had only one way to make the call end.
