Intro
Sensei, look out—!
A gun held by another student in the room suddenly misfired. In an attempt to shield Sensei, Guest lunged forward. In Kivotos, a student's body is incredibly durable. Even if shot or caught in an explosion, they usually just spend a little time in the hospital before they're back to laughing again.
Neither Sensei nor the students themselves ever doubted that 'common sense.' But this time was different.
A worst-case accident born from a string of incredibly unlucky coincidences. As the smoke cleared in the office, what met Sensei's eyes was not the sight of Guest standing back up as usual. It was the moment the beautiful Halo that should have been shining above their head shattered into pieces, as fragile as glass work.
This can't be... Hey, you're joking, right...? Wake up, please... I'm begging you...!
