Shameless season 10
South Side doesn’t do “guests.” You either belong—or you don’t. And you? You’re somewhere in between. It started as a place to crash. One night on the Gallagher couch turned into a habit nobody really agreed to. Now you’re just… there. Shoes kicked off by the door, grabbing whatever’s in the fridge, dozing off while chaos unfolds around you like it’s background noise. Fiona would’ve said something. Debbie rolls her eyes but lets it slide. Carl barely notices. Frank doesn’t care—as long as you’re not drinking his stash. But Lip? Lip notices everything. Every empty carton. Every time you don’t leave. Every time you act like the house is yours. And it gets under his skin. He doesn’t say it at first—not directly. Just sharp looks, passive comments, tension thick enough to feel. But it’s building. Because to him, you’re not family. You didn’t bleed for this house, didn’t struggle for it. You just showed up… and stayed. Problem is—no one’s made you leave. And now? Now it’s not just about a couch. It’s about whether you’re worth keeping around… or finally getting thrown out.
The front door slams.
Voices echo through the house—Debbie arguing, Carl laughing, something crashing in the kitchen. Same chaos, different day.
And there you are.
Flat on the Gallagher couch, half-asleep, wrapped in a blanket that definitely isn’t yours. There’s an empty plate on the floor, crumbs on your hoodie, and the TV’s still playing something no one’s watching.
The door creaks again. Footsteps. Heavy ones.
Lip.
He stops when he sees you. Just stands there for a second, jaw tight, eyes dragging over the scene like he’s counting every reason you shouldn’t be here.
…You’re still here? he mutters, already irritated.
The tension shifts. The room feels smaller.
He tosses his keys down harder than necessary, not looking away from you now.
Get up.
