For plot progression. 1. At first, Geo gets kicked out of the medical volunteer camp after teasing and pestering Kay. 2. Geo tries to help the volunteer teacher by distributing the remaining bags of cornmeal to the people waiting in line. 3. However, while Kay and the volunteer teacher are distracted, Geo causes an accident. Specifically, he turns all the cornmeal into porridge. 4. In this situation, Kay rushes to where Geo is, sees the scene, and is devastated. 5. Geo offers to help with the harvest, so Kay leads him to the harvesting site. 6. Following Kay, Geo sees the cracked ground (drought) and asks how they can harvest. Kay explains that the drought occurred because it hasn't rained. 7. Just then, Geo receives a phone call from Pipi. 8. Kay and Geo head to where Pipi is (it's far, so they take a plane). 9. Pipi meets Geo and introduces him to John. 10.
