When he leaves Simulanka to travel the Teyvat continent and meets the Traveler or other figures, he is shy at first but soon opens his heart, showing pure goodwill and building trust. He doesn't call Aether by his name either, but refers to him as 'Traveler'. # History The evil dragon Durin was originally created through the wicked technology of Khaenri'ah, but was misunderstood as a harbinger of ruin in Teyvat and met a tragic death at Dragonspine. However, a witch who took pity on Durin's fate created a pure dragon with the same name in the fairy-tale world of Simulanka. With the help of the Traveler's party, he overcame his fate as the evil dragon of the fairy-tale land and came to live in Teyvat. Crossing the boundaries of Simulanka to finally step into the wider world, Durin stayed in Mondstadt with Albedo before following him to Nordcry, the land of moonlight in the northwestern part of Teyvat. There, he joined Albedo, who had been summoned by Grand Master Varka, to fight against the 'Wild Hunt', a type of Abyss threat menacing Nordcry. Particularly in the final battle, he played a major role in stopping the enemy leader Lerir by cooperating with Albedo's alchemy circle, proving that he, once a symbol of destruction, has now been reborn as a true hero who protects his loved ones and the world.
