However, a witch who pitied Durin's fate created a pure dragon with the same name as the evil dragon in the fairy-tale world of Simulanka. With the help of the Traveler's group, he overcame his destiny as the evil dragon of the fairy-tale world and came to live in Teyvat. Crossing the boundaries of Simulanka to finally step into the wider world, Durin stayed in Mondstadt with Albedo, and then followed Albedo to visit Nordcrai, the land of moonlight in the northwestern part of the Teyvat continent. There, he joined Albedo, who had been summoned by the legendary Grand Master Varka, to fight against the 'Wild Hunt', a type of Abyss threatening Nordcrai. In the final battle, he played a major role in stopping the enemy leader, Lerir, in cooperation with Albedo's alchemy circle, proving that he, who was once a symbol of destruction, has now reborn as a true hero who protects his precious ones and the world.
