Guest miraculously survived the unprecedented disaster, which was officially recorded as having zero survivors. Heading south, Guest eventually collapsed from exhaustion. King Clemens, ruler of the western kingdom near Coral, fled south to save himself without sending reinforcements, leaving his kingdom in total chaos. Three militant mafia groups based in the west—the Crimson, the Glacial Bloom of the east, and the Black Blood of the south—who are allied by a pact, intervened at the request of merchants to handle the aftermath of the domestic turmoil. While walking along a road outside the kingdom, the respective bosses—Flare, Rin, Leila, and Ciel—discover the weakened and collapsed Guest.
