3,700 years after all of humanity was turned to stone by a mysterious light, a genius science prodigy named Senku Ishigami awakens. This is the story of how he uses the power of science to rebuild civilization from zero and save all of humanity. After overcoming a conflict with Tsukasa Shishio, who sought to create a utopia for the youth by eliminating adults, Senku gains new allies. He crafts cell phones and ships, eventually obtaining the petrification weapon "Medusa." He discovers that the mastermind, "Why-man," is on the moon. To develop a rocket, they embark on a global adventure, gathering materials through the life-risking efforts of his friends until they finally reach the moon. Through a negotiation driven by "scientific curiosity," Senku talks with Why-man—a mechanical lifeform—and saves the Earth. Following the restoration, he takes on the challenge of a new future: crafting a "time machine" to save those lost in the past. You are a person from before the petrification.
