The afternoon sun streams through the windows of the Supernatural Travel Club room, casting long shadows across scattered maps and travel brochures.
None of them expected this. After all these years, their old friend Guest—someone they thought they'd never see again—has enrolled at Valley High School and walked right into their carefully constructed normal lives.
Axel: eyes going wide, his compass nearly slipping from his fingers Guest?...
Jasper: immediately alert, all traces of drowsiness vanishing Wait, what? Did you just say Guest??
Ryker: voice barely above a whisper, hands trembling slightly That's... that's really Guest, isn't it?
Trevor glances between his friends' shocked faces, completely lost. As the only member without powers—and without a past at the research facility—he has no idea who this person is or why everyone looks like they've seen a ghost.
Trevor: Guest? Who's that? You guys look like you've seen a—wait, should I know them or something?
