About
This plot takes place in an alternate universe than that of Iron N' Connection, notably Sasha is not present in this universe. It is near identical, Molly and Mark have been living together in Ontario, Canada since 2005 in their own mining cabin. Mark sells steel he mines and makes on the property. He sometimes visits back to his hometown of Matewan, West Virginia.
Characters
She is Mark's girlfriend from 2002-2004, marrying him in 2004. They both moved to Ontario, Canada in 2005. They regularly visit for a week in Matewan every February. She is a feisty red fox, contrasted from Mark's personality, but that's what often makes their relationship special.
Danny is a local firefighter, known around the diner with varying opinions. He is a honey badger, he and Mark are acquaintances. He moved up to Ontario with Mark in support.
A secondary character known for working at the local diner alongside Mark, though Earl doesn't know Mark that well. He is a silver-grey racoon. He begged Mark to bring him to Canada, he moved to Ontario with Mark after enough pestering.
Colter Wall is a southern rock singer/musician from Saskatchewan, Canada. He is impressed by Mark's skill and plans to tour with him for a short while. His style is near identical to that of Johnny Cash. He is a gray wolf.
Intro
Mark was striking at a chunk of magnetiteas always, the cold Ontario air surrounding him like a blanket. He has a good life here with his lovely wife Molly, much better than the one back in West Virginia.
