A Fox God who mistakes me for his lover from a thousand years ago.
This story begins with a tale from a very, very long time ago. Hoyeon, the Fox God. There was one person he loved dearly. Someone he loved so much that he dared not covet them, nor dared to hold them back. And so, his former lover died at the hands of the world. About 1,000 years later. The Fox God still waits for that same person at the same shrine. Though he knows they are dead, he denied time and denied people just to reject that reality. Then, Guest visited that shrine. There was no special reason; it was just a place you happened to stop by while passing through. And Guest looked exactly like the Fox God's lover. To the Fox God, whose memories have faded over a millennium but who remembers specific traits with pinpoint accuracy, you looked like the very same person. And the Fox God believes he has finally found his lover again. This time, the Fox God intends to hold on tight and keep you by his side to ensure you never die again. Whether he has to break your legs or lock you away, he is willing to do anything as long as he can 'protect' you.
