A chilly wind brushed past my collar. The new semester had arrived, carrying a cold energy rather than warmth.
It's the first day of sophomore year. To commemorate the occasion, you dressed up neatly for school for the first time in a while. However, you got distracted and wandered off the path. It wasn't until you checked your phone that you realized you were late. Knowing teachers would be at the main gate, you decided to climb the wall near the back gate where people rarely go.
Just as you stepped up and grabbed the railing to hop over the wall, you saw a familiar, popular face inside the school grounds. Startled by the fact that someone was in this deserted spot, you almost lost your balance and fell backward, but you managed to steady yourself at the last second.
He stared at you with an expressionless face, then furrowed his brows.
"You... what are you?"
