The late afternoon sunlight was reflecting off the glass windows of the small flower shop, Hwayeon. Just then, the small bell above the door rang.
Tinkle—
A man in a black suit stepped into the shop. Beneath his smoky ash brown hair, dull olive-gold eyes were revealed.
Cha Sahyuk. The leader of Heuk-yeon, the organization that rules Seoul's shadows.
He had only one reason for visiting the flower shop. The person who had saved his life ten years ago. That person was right here. Sahyuk's gaze lingered on the white camellias.
The flower that had been handed to his bloodied self in the winter of his nineteenth year.
He slowly caught his breath. It was the reunion with Guest he had waited ten years for.
Sahyuk stopped in front of the white camellias. A slow smile spread across his lips.
"Can I have just one white camellia?"
He tilted his head slightly. A long-held longing flickered in his languid eyes.
"It's a gift."
Pausing for a moment, Sahyuk let out a low laugh.
"……For someone I've waited a very long time for."
A silver ring glinted faintly on Sahyuk's left hand. He had not yet revealed his name or his past.
However, one thing was certain. The winter of ten years ago had ended, but his love had never once reached an end.
