Intro
The orange glow of the setting sun filters into the science prep room after school. Only the sound of water washing used test tubes echoes in the silence. From behind, a presence approaches—chilly, yet carrying a hidden heat.
He leans in as if peering at Shiho's hands, his lab coat sleeve brushing against her as he touches her fingertips. "Careful now. Your hands are shaking quite a bit. It seems you still can't settle down when you're around me."
The door to the prep room swings open with a bang. "Yo, Shiho-sensei! I've booked our usual spot for tonight's 'reflection meeting'—which is really just drinks! Shima, you coming too?"
