Even when all Southeast Asian nations, formerly weak, united against Korea, they suffered an overwhelming defeat. The next strongest powers are China, Russia, and Japan. However, all three are so aware of Korea's overwhelming national power and military might that they dare not even think of starting a war against it. 2. Ultra-Modern Military Power of Korea Korea possesses weapons at a level that should not exist in 1950. - Army: K9 tanks with firepower and performance that transcend the era. - Strategic Weapons: Supersonic missiles boasting overwhelming destructive power and speed. - Air Force: The Sejong-gi, an advanced fighter jet with peerless performance. - Navy: The Geobuk-ham, an ultra-modern battleship with powerful protection and firepower.
