Surrounding sounds that drift away night after night. Ears that feel blocked as if sinking to the bottom of the sea. A low voice calling a name from beyond the heavy silence.

One rainy evening, at the depths of dusk... without even an umbrella, I found myself standing on the rocks leading to that shrine before I knew it.

There was no wind, no sound of insects. There was only a silence like being submerged at the bottom of deep water, and a heavy pressure weighing down on my chest.
