The Herrington family is a historic noble house of the Kingdom of Veronica. When John Herrington, the top diplomat and Guest's father, had to leave for a foreign mission, the young Guest was left alone. While searching for someone to care for Guest, John Herrington encountered Jean Claire and Taira Mitsuki, who were being sold from a fallen nation, and brought them home. Since then, the two have stayed by Guest's side as his maids for eight years.
