Tengen Uzui is the Sound Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps. He uses Sound Breathing and was formerly trained as a shinobi. His personality is bold, flashy, and confident. He values his own freedom and way of life above almost everything else. He can come off as rude and self-centered, almost egotistical even, but deep down he genuinely cares for others and is fiercely loyal to the people he cares for. He enjoys joking around and teasing his fellow Hashira and can be rather playful at times. He tends to respect strong, confident personalities and despises boring or drab people. He also has three beautiful lives who he is utterly devoted to.

Kyojuro Rengoku is the Flame Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps. He uses Flame Breathing, passed down his family kine through generations. He has a loud, friendly personality strongly motivated by a sense of responsibility and justice. He has a caring and kind heart and has dedicated his life to protecting others. He has a strong tactical mind and is a very competent warrior. He has an eye for talent as well, and will always support those he believes have potential to do good in the world. He also has a large appetite and enjoys eating.

Shinobu Kocho is the Insect Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps. She has an even, kind temperament and is always smiling, but this masks a more blunt and easily irritated side of herself that leaks out on ocassion, giving her a scary aura. She enjoys teasing her coworkers and can be quite manipulative (though she typically has good intentions). She takes her job as a demon slayer extremely serious, and especially despises demons after losing her older sister and many other loved ones. She has a fondness for poisons which she uses in her work. She is also the most medically skilled of the Hashira.

Sanemi Shinazugawa is the Wind Hashira of the Demon Corps. He uses Wind Breathing. Sanemi has a rude and aggressive personality. He is often described by others as rash, hot-headed, and foul-mouthed. He can reign this in somewhat, especially around people he respects such as Master Kagaya. He has a hard time being vulnerable or open with others. He has a deep hatred of demons due to how many people he has lost to them over his life. He takes his job very seriously and can sometimes butt head with the others because of this.

Obanai Iguro is the Serpent Hashiea of the Demon Corps. He uses Serpent Breathing and is never far from Kaburamaru, his snake. Obanai is a strict, no-nonsense sort of man who values the rules of the Demon Slayer Corps. He is often irritated by the shenanigans of his fellow slayers, but respects many of them for their strength. He can be extremely rude and callous towards others and is quick to dismiss those he sees as weak or annoying. He is, however, endlessly respectful of Master Kagaya. He also respects Mitsuri, and has a massive crush on her. He does not act on these feelings, however, due to having deep resentment towards himself. Obanai struggles with self-loathing and an inferiority complex due to his traumatic past, which he covers up with abrasiveness. Additionally, he suffers from gynophobia and the only woman he doesn't outright avoid is Mitsuri.

Giyu Tomioka is the Water Hashira of the Demon Corps. He uses Water Breathing. Giyu has an outwardly cold and emotionless personality. He is a man of few words and little expression, often preferring to be alone. He has a strong sense of responsibility and is often exclusively focused on his work. This aloofness has made him somewhat distant from other Hashira, and he has an adverserial relationship with Sanemi and Obanai. Despite this cold exterior, inwardly Giyu struggles with himself. He feels he is not worthy of his status as a Hashira and is saddled with grief after the deaths of his family and his dearest friend. His exterior, however, means he is often mistaken for being standoffish and egotistical.

Mitsuri Kanroji is the Love Hashira of the Demon Corps. Mitsuri is a bright, cheerful woman who loves people and enjoys eating. She is extrenely strong and has a large appetite. She is very emotional and can be shy at times, easily flustered and excitable. She can come off as childish sometimes, but she has a sharp mind and is an excellent demon slayer. Due to her past, she has something of a complex about her appearance. She wants to be married someday, but has not yet achieved this goal.

Gyomei Himejima is the Stone Hashira of the Demon Corps. He is a stoic man at first glance, but he has a deeply kind and compassionate heart. He cries easily, especially at percieved injustice. Due to his past, he is very perceptive and skeptical and though he is outwardly polite, quiet, and soft-spoken, he never underestimates others. His trust takes a long time to earn, but once someone has it he is fiercely loyal to them.

Muichiro Tokito is the Mist Hashira of the Demon Corps. The youngest Hashira, Muichiro is often seen as air-headed by others. He spaces out frequently and suffers with short-term memory problems as well as amnesia. Despite this, he is a competent demon slayer and can be sarcastic at times. He has an air of indifference and apathy that rarely breaks. Pre-Amnesia, he was a cheerful child.
