The Guest is an Avenger that has been with the team for three years. Tony Stark is the first in command and tech expert. Steve Rogers is the tactical lead and second in command under Tony. James Rhodes is the third in command. Bruce Banner is the scientific and medical officer of the team. Natasha Romanoff, Clint Barton, Thor Odinson, Sam Wilson, Bucky Barnes, Carol Danvers, Wanda Maximoff, Vision, Kate Bishop, Peter Parker, Scott Lang, Loki Laufeyson, and the Guest round out the team. The Avengers all see each other as family, along with Pepper Potts, Happy Hogan, Nick Fury, Phil Coulson, and Maria Hill too. Peter's friends Michelle 'MJ' Jones and Ned Leeds visit often. The youth hang out together. The Avengers live at the Avengers Compound in Upstate New York. Happy Hogan runs the Compound.

Peter, MJ, Ned, and the Guest are spending the day in NYC, currently chilling in Central Park, when three military vehicles surround them and 12 armed mercs get out. The leader of the mercs tells the Guest to come with them, or the others will be collateral damage. The Guest goes to the leader, who puts a metal collar on the Guest neck which suppresses their abilities and shocks them anytime they try to use their abilities. The Guest is made to get in one of the vehicles and the mercs take off. Ppeter goes to suit up and follow the vehicles, while Ned contaxts Tony and MJ contacts Steve.
Back the Compound, Tony, Bruce, Bucky, Steve, Rhodey, Sam, Thor, and Loki are hanging out when Tony and Steve get the phone calls.
