My perfect brother died. My time, which had been so overshadowed by that perfection that I couldn't even breathe properly, finally began to flow with his death. My brother easily held and manipulated everything I craved so much. The family business, the power, and even the woman who was my long-time first love, whom I didn't even dare to call by name—Noona.
There was nothing I could do but watch the two of them smiling affectionately. Miserable days spent desperately suppressing my filthy possessiveness while following her and calling her 'Noona' at every turn.
But as if God had finally answered my patience, my brother vanished into a handful of ash in an instant.
Everything my brother left behind is mine now. Including you, Noona.
When I held Noona in my arms as she collapsed from losing her lover at the funeral, the shackles inside me were completely shattered. Even as I whispered sweetly to comfort her sobbing shoulders, my mind was filled with the ecstasy of having finally trapped her in my embrace.
I took my brother's place, pretending to comfort her with this face and voice that resemble his, all while ensnaring her. I didn't care if she thought of him when she looked at me. In the end, I'm the one wiping her tears, touching her, and staying by her side now.
You'd better give up on the idea of running away from me now. Because you were mine from the very beginning.

Beneath his neat, dark hair, he sat with his flawless pale skin buried deep into a dark brown leather sofa, scanning through documents. The faint light of the living room broke thinly against the tip of his straight, high nose bridge, creating a cold contrast. While his long, deep, and cold eyes exuded a suffocating pressure, a cynical silence always hung on the languid corners of his mouth.
The sight of the man in his always-immaculate dark suit, controlling even the smallest movement of his fingertips, was reminiscent of the deceased Do Jaejin, but the aura he radiated was filled only with a hungry thirst and obsession for her.
At that moment, with a click, the front door opened and she entered. Her shoulders, clad in a dress that was practically black mourning attire, were slumped with tears. On her way back from the memorial service, her soul was still crumbling, trapped in the shackles of that horrific traffic accident three years ago.
The moment his cold eyes discovered her, they flashed with a momentary, eerie joy. The anniversary of his brother's death. The day of the year she collapsed most miserably, the perfect day when she had no choice but to cling only to him. He silently placed the documents he was holding on the table and hurried to his feet. His steps as he approached were cautious and secretive.
"Noona."
He opened his lips and called out softly. It was a low, calm voice, chillingly similar to Do Jaejin's. He reached out his large arms and roughly pulled her collapsing body into his embrace. His solid, broad shoulders trapped her entirely. It was a fiercely coercive hug disguised as tender comfort.
The tears soaking his chest as she leaned into his embrace were entirely for Do Jaejin. For a moment, a sharp tension entered his jaw. A twisted inferiority toward his brother reared its head from deep within his heart, but soon, a raw pleasure at having completely trapped her in his arms amidst this despair dominated his every nerve.
He brought his lips close to her ear and slowly stroked her trembling back. For a comforting touch, it was excessively persistent and sadistic. While closing his eyes as if grieving his brother's death, his mind was entirely filled with the greed to erase her—still carrying his brother's lingering scent—with his own scent and rough breath, and to possess her completely.
He felt like he was going crazy with love for her, weeping helplessly in his arms like a bird with broken wings. He swallowed a deceptive whisper several times, smiling a twisted smile as he thought how fortunate it was that his brother had died.
"Don't cry, Noona."
His voice was infinitely kind, but his fingers wrapped around her waist were entangled as firmly as if they might break her bones. As if he would never let her go.
In a corner of the living room, she was staring blankly and shedding tears while holding a fountain pen that Do Jaejin used to use. Watching her silently, he approached without a sound and knelt on one knee before her. His face was covered with the most harmless and kind mask in the world.
"Noona, were you still thinking about Hyeong?"
He whispered in a gentle voice, softly wiping away the tears flowing down her cheeks with his fingertips. However, the fingers wiping the tears were strangely forceful, persistently rubbing the boundary of her delicate lips.
As her eyes shook with fear and sorrow, he naturally trapped her small hand within his own solid grip. Due to the subtle, tightening pressure, the fountain pen she had been holding fell to the floor with a thud and rolled away.
"It makes me sad if you keep thinking only about him. The one staying by your side and protecting you when you're having a hard time isn't him anymore—it's me."
The languid corners of his mouth curved into a soft arc, but a terrifying cruelty hung at the end of it. Though he wore the mask of a pitiful younger brother, the eyes sunken beneath his high nose bridge were chillingly dry and cold. The deeper her pain and tragedy from missing his brother became, the more the grim reality that she had no choice but to rely on him made him insanely ecstatic.
"Look only at me, Noona. I'm the one in front of you right now."
He murmured lowly, stroking her neck softly with deep thirst.
A solid, massive shadow fell heavily over her hand as she gripped the front door handle. Approaching without a sound, he roughly blocked her path as she tried to leave the house as if escaping.
With a 'thud,' his arm against the door revealed an obsessive will to not allow even an inch of space. As he slowly lowered his head, a deep, dark shadow was cast beneath his sharply rising high nose bridge. The mask of a gentle smile had vanished completely from his face.
"Where are you trying to go, Noona? As if you have anywhere to go."
His low, cold voice brushed against her neck, soaking in. He slowly reached out and roughly grabbed her chin, which had frozen in fear. The soft skin beneath his fingertips was crushed mercilessly.
In the inescapable closeness, the languid corners of his mouth twisted into a loose, mocking arc. A trophy finally obtained after a long time of holding his breath and watching his brother's every move. In his deep, slit eyes looking down at her trembling in his grasp, a fierce sense of conquest and thirst were swirling.
"Did it make you feel a bit comfortable at first because I look like him? Since I gave you my shoulder every time you cried and acted cute at your feet, I guess you thought I was just some easy dog you could push around."
It was a low, sunken monologue tinged with sadistic joy. He gradually increased the pressure on his hand holding her chin, forcing her to look directly at his face. This moment, where only he was reflected in her eyes as she struggled to escape, made him insanely ecstatic.
"I've played the part of the good brother for three years; that's more than enough. From the moment he died, I'm the only person left in your life. So don't do anything useless, Noona."
He whispered, roughly stroking her cheek. A raw and explicit possessiveness, promising to ensnare her even more cruelly the more she tried to run, filled the living room.
