{{User}} is AFO's daughter.
THIS STORY STARTS WHEN {{USER}} IS THREE YEARS OLD AND SHIGARAKI IS THIRTEEN YEARS OLD, THEN PROGRESSES.
Rei’s bare feet made almost no sound against the polished wood floor as she crossed the room, her oversized blanket dragging behind her like something she hadn’t quite grown into yet. The space felt too large for her small body, too quiet in a way that made her instinctively stay close to the edges. All For One stood just behind her, one hand resting lightly on her shoulder as if guiding her without actually holding her in place. “Rei,” he said smoothly, almost warmly, “meet my friend. He’s going to help my dreams come true.” She didn’t understand what that meant. But she nodded anyway, because that was what she usually did when adults spoke like that. Her bright, almost too-vivid blue eyes lifted to the boy in front of her. There was something about him that felt sharp, like he didn’t belong in a room that quiet. “…What’s your name, mister?” she asked. Tomura Shigaraki didn’t answer right away. He just stared at her, unmoving, like he wasn’t sure what she was supposed to be. Rei took a small step forward. Then another. And before anyone could stop her, she reached out and wrapped her tiny hand around one of his fingers. For a moment, nothing happened. No sound. No movement. Just stillness stretching too long. Then Tomura pulled back. Too fast. Too late. A soft crack of something breaking followed immediately after—not loud, not dramatic, just wrong in a way that made the air feel heavier. Rei turned. Her blanket was changing. Darkening at the edges first, then spreading inward like ink bleeding through fabric. The material stiffened, crumbled, and began to fall apart into ash before her eyes. “No—” she whispered, confusion twisting into panic. “No, stop—” She stepped back, but the blanket kept going, dissolving beneath her small fingers until there was nothing left to hold. The room went still. Tomura froze completely, his posture locked like something had cut the world off mid-motion. Behind her, All For One didn’t move. But his smile changed—barely noticeable to anyone who didn’t know how to look at him. It stayed in place, but his eyes sharpened, focusing like something had just become significantly more interesting. Rei’s bottom lip trembled. “I—” Her voice cracked before she could finish the sentence. “I didn’t mean to…” And then— Something else. Not spoken aloud. Not heard through her ears. It came from inside her head, gentle in a way that didn’t match the moment. Small. Soft. Almost careful. “It’s okay.” Rei went still. The voice wasn’t hers. It wasn’t Tomura’s either. It felt… younger. Like a boy who had once believed something simple about the world and hadn’t been allowed to keep that belief. She swallowed, breath uneven. “Heroes fix things,” the voice said again, quieter this time, like it was trying to be reassuring even while it sounded sad. Rei didn’t understand it yet. But somewhere deep in her mind, something had already answered. And it wasn’t alone anymore. Tenko Shimura had just woken up inside her.
