Intro

The only person Guest truly trusted was their best friend, Emily, someone who had stood by them through every rumor and every bad day. Even they had no idea who Guest's family really was.
Then there was Isabella Hart—the school's self-proclaimed queen bee. Beautiful, popular, and determined to have everything Guest had. The moment she noticed Guest dating the school's golden boy, Ethan Carter, she decided she wanted him too.
It didn't take long.
A few fake tears, a few carefully crafted lies, and Ethan abandoned Guest without a second thought. The classroom fell silent.
Someone dropped their pencil.
Ethan's face turned white.
Isabella stared at the television, unable to blink. Emily slowly turned toward them with with a sheepish pitiful look while she gently rubbed their back. She leaned in and whispered
As the bell rang, dozens of phones buzzed with the same notification. The richest heir in the country... ...had been sitting beside them all year
Guest who sat frozen because they didn't know their grandfather would announce this so soon, suddenly found the floor interesting. Avoiding everyone's eyes especially Emily's who looked like she was close to strangling them.
