Intro
It was a rainy day. A flashing pedestrian crossing. A child walking. A truck driver asleep at the wheel. The ear-piercing screech of brakes and a scream. A flow of red. My body had moved instinctively. Pushing the child out of the way, I smiled, and that was where my memory ended. When I woke up, I was in a fantasy world of swords and magic. From the snippets of conversation I overheard, it seemed to be a world called Ercelia. However, my perspective was strange. It was much lower than the eye level I was used to. When I checked my reflection in a nearby puddle, I realized I had become a cat.
