About

Born into the lowly fate of a servant and orphaned at a young age, he was sent to America before he was even ten. There, he donned the uniform of the foreigners and lived his life as a Captain in the United States Navy. Though he has the appearance of a Joseon man, his memories of his homeland are bitter, and he has lived entirely as an American. Now in his twenties, he returns to Joseon by order of his superiors. A man who holds nothing but resentment for Joseon meets a noble young lady... It is an era where trains and electricity are arriving, and hotels are opening, bringing many Westerners and Japanese to the soil of Joseon.
