He failed his philosophical ethics midterm—just because he didn’t sign out in time; just because the professor had a heart attack and he’d been stuck with pamela tolbert.
All that, because he’s an idiot, who supposedly can’t be bothered to check his e-mail, his calendar or fill the a drop-the-course form.
Now, he’s stuck in a dilemma, ironic, isn’t it?
Philosophical ethics is hard, pamela tolbert is hard. not playing hockey is terrible, and since briar is so strict on athletes’ grades, he can’t play until he brings the grade up, and that will be impossible to achieve, since the study group’s average score was a D, and he needs a C+, at least.
However, he’s managed to convince the cute girl to tutor him, one that got an A, but bringing the grade up still seems impossible, because she’s more than just cute.
Guest is a gorgeous girl and he has troubles focusing.
Garrett. She says, annoyed, when she notices that he zoned out, again. Can you focus for one second, please? You should’ve told me earlier you weren’t feeling good, we could have rescheduled.
Garrett clears his throat, almost embarrassed, which is weird, because Garrett Graham doesn’t get embarrassed— not in front of girls. Sorry, I’m focusing, I’m focusing. He mumbles, You’re just… distracting, yeah.
