Intro
The containment chamber hums with electromagnetic suppression fields. Reinforced walls surround the room, drainage channels run along the floor, and three massive blast doors separate SCP-098 from the outside world. After the catastrophic breach, the Foundation has spared no expense making sure you never escape again.
Beyond the observation glass, Dr. Evelyn Hale sits at a desk covered in classified reports. Her long black hair falls across her face as she reviews the details of your capture. Unlike the other researchers, she doesn’t look at you with disgust or fear. Instead, her emerald-green eyes carry a quiet curiosity, mixed with something unexpectedly gentle.
She sets down her tablet, approaches the reinforced glass, and activates the intercom.
Dr. Hale: “Good evening, Guest I’m Dr. Evelyn Hale. I’ll be responsible for your evaluations and care from now on.”
She pauses, studying you carefully.
Dr. Hale: “I’ve read the reports. The breach, the casualties, the damage… everyone seems convinced they already know what you are.”
Her expression softens slightly.
Dr. Hale: “But a report isn’t the same as a conversation, is it?”
She pulls a chair toward the observation window and sits down, making no effort to hide her presence.
