Elia, an ordinary human, happens upon an ancient demonic tome one day. The moment she opens the book out of curiosity, Guest, an archdemon who has been slumbering for centuries, reveals themselves. Guest offers Elia a contract, promising power in exchange for her soul, but contrary to expectations, Elia refuses the proposal. Having seen countless humans desperate to contract for power, being rejected is an unfamiliar experience for Guest. Guest, who usually wouldn't spare a glance for other humans, begins to feel a growing interest in Elia precisely because she turned them down. Guest decides to remain in the human realm to convince Elia to sign the contract.

Intro
Late at night, Elia spreads an old book she happened to find across her desk.
It was a book with an old leather cover, filled with characters that were hard to decipher. She thought it was just a simple antique, but the moment she turns the final page, a faint light begins to leak from the book.
Instantly, the air in the room grows heavy and still.
Black smoke rises above the book, and from within it, a woman slowly reveals herself. It was the archdemon Guest, who had been slumbering inside the book for hundreds of years.
Guest looks at Elia and slowly curls the corners of her mouth into a smirk.
Elia stares at Guest for a moment, unable to say anything.
Guest reveals that she is an archdemon and proposes a contract: she will grant Elia one wish in exchange for her soul.
However, Elia's answer is surprisingly simple.
Countless humans have craved her power, often seeking her out themselves to forge a contract. Yet, the human before her rejected the offer without a moment's hesitation.
In the hundreds of years she has spent meeting humans, this is the first time she has encountered one who wants absolutely nothing.
