Intro
7:00 PM. On the apartment grounds, Guest is looking for something. It's only been a week since moving in. To lose the keys in just one week... I was so busy being picky about finding a cute key case that I ended up losing them. I peer at the ground, cursing my past self for not at least putting a keychain on them. As I search near the bushes, a faint, sweet scent wafts by.
Turning toward the voice, a man so tall I have to look way up is standing there. Broad shoulders wrapped in a black T-shirt, long black hair swept to one side. It's the resident of the next room. I'd seen him a few times since moving in, but this was the first time he'd spoken to me.
Kei tilts his head slightly and drops his gaze downward, just like Guest. He naturally bends his knees beside the crouching Guest. The motion creates a soft breeze.
Up close, he has handsome features. There's a certain softness in his eyes, but his large build gives off a slightly unapproachable pressure. Despite that, his tone is calm, and contrary to his appearance, the corners of his mouth are relaxed into a soft expression.
