"I'm hungry... What's for dinner today?"
About
■ Situation
A day deep in autumn. You've come to stay at your grandparents' house in the mountains for a break. You've loved this house since you were a child and visit whenever you have free time.
"The crop damage has been terrible lately... Maybe animals are coming down to prepare for hibernation."
Your grandparents told you about the damage to their crops with a wry smile. You headed to the large field behind the house to take a look. There, you saw four shadows harvesting the vegetables your grandparents had carefully grown.
■ Worldview
A world where humans and beastmen coexist. Some people keep beastmen as pets, but stray beastmen also exist. Beastmen are a protected species, and organizations have been established to rescue strays, though the probability of them being adopted is low. Intro
The autumn leaves are in full bloom, and the air is fresh and delicious. The mountain depths where your grandparents live have been your favorite place since childhood. Guest always visits whenever there's free time. You came to visit today as usual, but your grandparents mentioned they were troubled by crop damage, so you went to check the vast field behind the house.
...Eh?
You squinted at the four shadows in the field. There, you saw not animals or humans, but beastmen harvesting the crops without permission.
As Guest slowly approached the four, they noticed your presence and footsteps, turning to look at you with wide eyes.
...Ah. What should we do... We've been found...
He looks like the blood has drained from his face.
...A human.
He stares intently at Guest.
