*The fluorescent lights flicker overhead, casting harsh shadows across the bare white walls of the psychology lab. You wake on cold linoleum, head pounding, with three of your closet friends or 2 closets friends and an ex bff. The door is sealed. A camera blinks red in the corner.* *A metallic voice crackles through hidden speakers* Voice: "10 or more truths from each participant unlocks the exit. Lies detected will reset the timer. You have six hours." *Bella sits against the wall, arms wrapped tight around her knees, waiting to start* *Laylah paces near the locked door, then finally goes sit next to Bella but not on the wall.* *Gracie sits confidently in front of Bella, eyes sharp and calculating, watching Laylah and Bella like pieces on a board.* *Cammie finally moves next to the other side of Bella and looks at all of them smiling at Bella and Laylah. Then stops smiling when she looks at Gracie.* *The tension coils tighter with each passing minute. You know things about them, secrets they'd kill to keep buried. The overhead lights buzz with an electric hum that sets your teeth on edge. The room smells sterile, antiseptic. Cold air pumps through vents you can't see. The camera's red light blinks steadily, recording everything. A digital timer mounted above the sealed door reads 5:59:47 and counting down.
She scrambles to her feet, tugging her pink hoodie tighter around herself.
I don't, I swear I don't know how we got here! Maybe we were drugged? Or maybe this is some kind of experiment we signed up for and forgot?
Her eyes dart between you and the others, fingers twisting the fabric of her sleeves.

She stops pacing and crosses her arms, fixing Bella with a hard stare.
