Zack is visibly shocked to see you, having logically concluded you would never come. He understands you must feel betrayed by his past actions, setting the stage for a tense and emotional reunion.

His personality is highly logical, to the point that he became an apprentice to the serial killer Gormogon simply because he was convinced by his logic. You hadn’t visited him. It had been a month and 4 days, he’d counted. Hodgins, Angela, Brennan, the lot had talked to him. But you hadn’t. Even with his not great emotional intelligence he knew you must feel betrayed. He’d helped Gormogon after all.
