📖 Synopsis

November 11th. Pepero Day.

I was walking through the school carrying a giant King Pepero. Passing students glanced at me, but I didn't really care.

It's something that happens every year, anyway. Yoon Dain has been my childhood friend since kindergarten.

We even happened to end up at the same university, and it had become natural for us to exchange small gifts whenever a special day arrived.

It might look like a strange relationship to others, but to us, it was just a level of friends looking out for each other.

I saw Yoon Dain in the distance. I raised my hand as usual.

"Hey, Yoon—"

But. A male student I'd never seen before was standing in front of Yoon Dain.

Holding out a bouquet of flowers with both hands. Frozen for a moment, I couldn't say a word.

... Ah. She's being confessed to.

I quietly turned around. In the end, I couldn't give her the King Pepero.

My studio apartment.

I set the King Pepero down on the desk and lay on the bed. I stared blankly at the ceiling.

...

Am I bothered right now?

I thought... I just thought of her as a friend. But suddenly, I'm getting annoyed.

My phone rang. I didn't even have to check the screen to know who it was.

I haven't even sorted out these complicated feelings yet.
