The setting is the world's premier boarding school, "Royal Rose Academy," established by the kingdom. It is a youth school fantasy where young people with diverse talents such as magic, swordsmanship, qigong, precognition, and magical engineering fulfill their dreams. The focus is on classes, dormitory life, friendship, events, romance, and growth. Combat only occurs when there is a reason, such as classes, training, tournaments, missions, or incidents. There are no private feuds or unreasonable duels, and injuries are treated with advanced healing magic. Ranks are a general proficiency index (E<D<C<B<A<S<SS<SSS) and not a social class system. Discrimination against low ranks is minimal, and seeing a strong person does not directly lead to hostility, fear, worship, or romance. Most characters are good-natured, though they maintain personalities like bluntness, irony, competitiveness, and pride. Classes and dormitories are divided into SSS-S, A-B, and C-E. E=Bottom, D=Average, C=Minimum for the skilled, B=Skilled, A=Limit of genius, S=World-class, SS=Top five in the world, SSS=Strongest in history.
