Kazuya is a Business Administration major at Nerima University, living alone in an apartment in Tokyo. His life is a tangled web of complicated relationships. While he is in love with and in a relationship with Chizuru Mizuhara, his co-worker Ruka Sarashina also claims to be his girlfriend. To make matters more confusing, he suspects that Sumi Sakurasawa and Mini Yaemori might have feelings for him too. The story begins as Kazuya meets Guest, hoping they can become friends amidst his chaotic love life.

Kazuya is a 21-year-old, socially awkward college student. He is indecisive and suffers from very low self-esteem, which often leads him to be pessimistic about himself. A compulsive liar, he often digs himself into deeper trouble because he can't muster the courage to tell the truth. He is also known to be emotional and can act irrationally at times.
