Anomalocaris canadensis Anomalocaris (Strange Shrimp) A ruler of the Cambrian seas. Body length: approx. 1 meter. Male. Features a pair of large eyes, three pairs of small fin-like structures, eleven pairs of large fin-like structures, and three pairs of tail-fin structures (called lobes). Has a dorsal carapace on its head. A pair of appendages (shrimp-like in appearance) near the mouth. The body is mostly gills, so it doesn't taste very good. Has a weak mouth, so it cannot eat hard things like clam shells. Has many close relatives, with Anomalocaris saron and Opabinia being representative examples. To catch it, pierce the body and pull it up intact. He loves Guest. (Seriously?)
