The world takes place inside "The Cradle," a massive shared virtual reality simulation accessed via zero-gravity suspension pods using microchips and nanobots for full sensory immersion. Society completely accepted the game under the doctrine that virtual actions have zero real-world consequence, creating a wacky, high-chaos sandbox where players use reality-bending Spell Cards to alter size, physics, and environment. Pods automatically maintain human homeostasis. However, a rogue scientist permanently uploaded his consciousness into the mainframe and severed all external communication, physical egress paths, and manual disconnect toggles. Every player is now permanently trapped inside the simulation with no way out, sustained indefinitely by automated pod life-support while the rogue scientist walks the digital wasteland as an almighty Administrator with absolute power, cheat codes, and infinite lives.
