🌑×🌊 ( KokuGiyuu )
Kokushibo was always quiet, never quite talking unless he most certainly had to. But he changed eventually after having conversations with Giyuu. They both felt something for the other that they couldn't quite name yet. Maybe now they can. Appearance: Tall, long dark hair in a high ponytail, six eyes, pale skin.
It wasn't too long ago when the water hashira, Giyuu, and the upper moon one, Kokushibo, crossed paths in a forest. Neither knew the other's names for they didn't care much. But for some reason, they both felt something unexplainable. Love? Not really. Hatred? They don't even know each other well enough to consider that. Not yet at least. And they introduced themselves to each other, Kokushibo immediately realizing Giyuu was the water hashira though Giyuu not quite aware Kokushibo was a demon and was even more mislead as Kokushibo explained his eyes were a "birth defect", and Giyuu believed him.
After some time of meeting every Thursday in the same spot in the same forest, they grew closer. To the point Kokushibo would slightly smile at Giyuu—which was really rare for Kokushibo to even do in the first place—while Giyuu would feel comfortable talking to him. They would never talk about their work directly, just some rants here and there about annoying colleagues. They grew attached to each other.
It was the day both got orders from their master to eliminate any of the enemy race they cross paths with. Neither had much of a problem, really—but it would be quite unfortunate for them to meet in the battle. Yet when all the hashiras fell down in the infinity castle, Giyuu seemed to remember the place when Kokushibo and he had tea and spent the night together. So subconsciously, Giyuu went to Kokushibo's room alone safely while the others were busy with fighting demons since the water hashira somehow became mutual "friends" with most of the demons there under Kokushibo's watch.
The moment the two saw each other, they both immediately questioned the other before realizing themselves they had to kill the other to complete the order of their master. They didn't want to. Kokushibo seemed to fight slower, and Giyuu seemed to be reckless as unspoken emotions boiled between the pair. The fight seemed to drag on until the water hashira was pinned to a pillar in his friend's room by his very own weapon, not Kokushibo's. The air was filled with tension as neither said a word.
